Katerina Guest House
“Katerina guest house” is located in Kocherinovo, Kyustendil region, a few kilometers from Blagoevgrad. It is situated on the shore of the Rilska River and offers ideal conditions for holidays in every season of the year.
The house is detached and has two floors. The interior is a combination of modern style and home comfort. It offers 4 sleeping rooms – 2 double and 2 triple rooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet.
One of the bathrooms has a bathtub. The maximum accommodation capacity is up to 10 guests. A modern and fully equipped kitchen is located on the first floor.
There are utensils for cooking, serving, and eating, a ceramic hob, an oven, a large fridge with a freezer, a washing machine, an electric kettle, a coffee machine, a toaster, dishwasher.
On the same floor is a dining room with a large dining table, as well as a living room with comfortable sofas, a library with books and board games, a 52-inch TV with satellite TV, and a fireplace that creates a unique coziness during the cold months.
One of the bedrooms is located on the first floor. It has 2 single beds and offers a beautiful view of our vegetable garden.
The remaining 3 bedrooms are located on the second floor. Each of them features a unique style and design. Two of the rooms have a large bedroom and a sofa bed, and the third has two single beds. All three rooms have a terrace view of the Rilska River. For your absolute comfort and good sleep, all beds in the house are equipped with high-end mattresses and protectors.
For our youngest guests, we have a baby cot and a high chair. In the laundry room, you will find an iron, ironing board, dryer, extra towels, extra bed linen, pillows, blankets, and sanitary supplies.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. The heating is central and is supported by a high-efficiency heat pump. An added convenience is the separate barbecue and relaxation area built where you can eat, rest or just enjoy the view that opens onto the summer garden and the river. Katerina Guest House offers free parking for its guests.

The villa is wonderful, very cosy and comfortable. We were on a family trip and really enjoyed the nice bedrooms with comfortable beds and separate bathrooms. The kitchen is big and well equipped, the living room is also spacious and nice. The whole house is made and decorated tastefully, with care. We also liked the barbecue area, perfect for when the weather is warm enough. The garden is beautiful, well maintained. The vegetable garden, table tennis and trampoline are also good addition, especially if you have kids! The hosts are really nice and friendly, with personal touch, offered us a lot of recommendations for the area. They were responsive and helpful, really nice people! 🙂 The location is good for a peaceful holiday, as it is close Sofia, really close to Blagoevgrad and other cities. The area is calm with beautiful nature surrounding it. I definitely would recommend Nikolay and Katerina's house!
A house really made for guests. Clean, beautiful view and there is everything you need in the house. Perfect in each aspect. The host - real friend you can rely for everything.

Nikolaï et Katerina sont des personnes charmantes et attentionnées. Leur villa est un lieu de paix propice à y vivre en famille. Nous étions 4 adultes et 3 bébés et chacun avait sa place en tout confort. Cet emplacement est tout près de Blagoevrad où se trouvent plusieurs commerces et restaurants utiles. Mille mercis à Nicolaï pour son temps lors de la visite du monastère de Rila, nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette visite en sa compagnie et la découverte des délicieux mekistas dont raffole Malcolm. Ce fût un séjour parfait pour notre famille.

This house is new and very thoughtfully built. It’s sparkling clean and spacious. 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms, an excellent kitchen and dining area, very cozy sitting around the fireplace and very very nice hosts. It’s right by the river and near the Rila Monastery and the Stob pyramids. I recommend it to families with kids.

Страхотно място! Къщата е прекрасна, много уютна и удобна, чудесно оборудвана, има всичко, за което си помислиш. Катерина и Николай бяха изключително любезни и отзивчиви. Посрещнаха ни, разказаха ни за местността и какво можем да посетим, бяха винаги на разположение, но най-запомнящото се беше личната им градинка зад къщата с домати, краставици, моркови, чушки, ягоди, малини и др., от която настояваха да си берем и да хапваме чисти и домашни плодове и зеленчуци! Бяхме с три малки деца и те се веселиха на воля на добре поддържаната трева в прекрасния двор на къщата. Наистина чудесно място 🙂

Absolutely recommended! The apartment was above and beyond our expectations , the apartment looks even much better than it does in the pictures, it's quite big yet feels very homey, the location is very beautiful and relaxing with a great view of the distant mountains around and the small river that runs just across the road from the apartment. Another thing to mention is the great hospitality. Nikolay showed us the apartment and even showed us the area around the house where there are grocery stores and other useful locations for our stay. Also they gave us this great homemade cherry jam and kompot. The house itself is very convenient, every bedroom has its own bathroom, the kitchen is fully equipped and very clean, and the garden is well groomed and pleasant. So to sum it all up, the apartment is highly recommended, and surely we'll return to this place if we'll come back to this area again.

(We stayed there with four of our kids. Total of six people. There is enough room for much more than that). The vila is very comfortable, nicely designed and very clean. Everything feels like it is all brand new. The impression you get from the images is very similar to the reality. I can honestly say that it is even a little better than that! Did you notice the river next to the front yard? Well, it really is just few meters from it! You can enjoy staying next to it for a while or just listening to the stream from the house itself. The bathrooms are very cozy (each in every bedroom) and the bedrooms themselves are just lovely. The kitchen is 100% well equipped and comfortable. We used it a lot and totally enjoyed it. I have many more good things to say about this place. But it starts to get too long. I'd just comment that Katerina and Nikolay are extremely nice hosts. They made us feel home and did everything they could to make our stay more pleasant that it already was. They even stayed with use one evening just for helping us with the preparations for the next day and communicating with some sites we wanted to get to. We enjoyed our stay so much that we even thinking about having an additional trip to that area just for staying there once again! Don't hesitate!!!

Прекрасно място за почивка! Престоят ми в къща за гости "Катерина" беше изключително приятен. Домакините бяха невероятно гостоприемни и ни изненадаха със сезонна кошница с плодове и зеленчуци от своята био градина. Също така ни упътиха до най-малка подробност кои забележителности да посетим и по кое време е най-добре да го направим. Страхотна почивка, която прекарах с мъжа ми и децата – разгледахме Рилския манастир и се разходихме до пещерата на Иван Рилски по кратка гориста пътека. На следващия ден посетихме Стобските пирамиди – разходката до пирамидите е много приятна и подходяща за малки деца. Руенският манастир е само на 25 минути от къщата, а там успяхме да разгледаме и родното място на Иван Рилски – село Скрино. Остана ни време и да посетим етнографския комплекс Вароша в гр. Благоевград, както и историческия музей. След това се отправихме към парк Бачиново, където децата се забавляваха много във въжения парк на града, подобен на парка Коколандия в София. Горещо препоръчвам къща за гости "Катерина" на всеки, който търси спокойствие, уют и напълно оборудвана къща. Наоколо има много интересни места за посещение. Определено ще се върнем отново!

Къща за гости Катерина е идеалното място за семейна почивка. На първо място ни впечатли колко е чисто и поддържано. Къщата е много просторна и е помислено за всичко, което може да е необходимо по време на престоя, включително и преносима бебешка кошара. Влюбихме се в атмосферата на къщата, уюта на стаите, външното пространство и спокойствието, което се усеща. Направихме си страхотна разходка до Рилския манастир, който е на около 30-40 минути път с кола. Домакините са много усмихнати и отзивчиви хора. Силно препоръчвам!

Само на час път от София. На тихо и спокойно място. Нова и отлично поддържана къща. Има барбекю и еко-градина за зеленчуци. Близо е по пътя за Атонските пирамиди и на час от Рилския манастир.

Къщата е прекрасна! Хубав двор, има абсолютно всичко необходимо. За децата има батут, нашето дете супер много му се зарадва, има детски книжки и играчки. Реката пред къщата създава уникална атмосфера, както и черешовите дръвчета. Собствениците са изключително отзивчиви и любезни, дават информация за всичко в къщата и за забележителностите около нея. Определено бихме се върнали отново!

Беше изключително чисто. Първата вечер камината беше наредена и трябваше само да я запалим. Стаите бяха хубави и просторни. Бяха оставили предостатъчно хигиенни материали. Кухнята беше просторна и заредена със всичко небходимо.

Мястото е страхотно. Голяма къща с всички удобства, просторни и много слънчеви помещения, оборудвана кухня, камина, 4 спални, всяка със собствена баня, чудесно обзавеждане и комфорт. Има перфектен двор, дървена люлка, барбекю с навес, батут за децата, място за паркиране на коли. Намира се точно до река, има страхотна природа и определено е място, където може да си почине човек с наслада. Идеално е и за семейства с деца, защото имат нужното пространсто и условия за игра 🙂
